Mobbin Brings Real App Examples Into AI
Its MCP helps AI tools find real screens and flows while you work.

AI designs better after it looks around
AI can make a decent paywall in seconds. But without examples, it often gives us the same familiar recipe: rounded cards, a purple background, three benefits, and one big button.
When every AI screen looks the same, the missing step is often research. The model was asked to design before it saw how real products show prices, explain permissions, handle mistakes, or guide people through a tricky flow.
Mobbin has collected thousands of those real product choices as screens, full flows, and website sections. Until now, designers had to open Mobbin, search, save screenshots, and bring the useful examples back into their design or coding tool.

Mobbin now works inside AI tools
Mobbin MCP makes that handoff much easier. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is an open standard that lets an AI app use tools from another service. In simple terms, the AI can ask Mobbin for examples instead of guessing.
Mobbin runs an online MCP server. You connect a paid Mobbin account with OAuth, the same kind of secure sign-in used by many apps. The server has three search tools: one for screens, one for full flows such as onboarding or checkout, and one for website sections such as pricing pages and footers.
The answer includes screen images, useful details, and links you can open. Mobbin shows up right when the AI needs a reference.
One prompt can replace a lot of tab hopping
I tried the live MCP and asked for iPhone paywalls that compare monthly and yearly plans and clearly explain the trial. It returned six real examples: Liven, Beside, DailyArt, Hatch Sleep, Tide Guide, and Brave Browser. Each result came with an image and a link back to Mobbin.
The small differences mattered. Liven separated a three-day weekly trial from its yearly and lifetime plans. Beside showed what monthly and yearly prices cost per week. DailyArt put the price after the trial directly below the main button. These are real design choices we can look at, not generic AI tips.
I also asked for onboarding flows that explain why an app wants to send notifications. Google gave people a reason before showing the permission request. Nibble described notifications as help with learning. The examples came to the work instead of making me leave the work.
Real examples are useful, but they are not proof
The MCP cannot tell us if a screen increased sales, if people understood it, or if it fits our product. A real screen proves that someone shipped it. It does not prove that it worked. Search results can also be messy: my notification search included an unrelated Timer paywall.
An independent designer found the same limit. Mobbin MCP saved hours of manual research, but the first AI wireframe looked too finished, used dark mode, and ignored the product’s design system. A person still had to steer the work.
A better process is simple: find examples, compare them, adapt the useful parts, and test the result. Mobbin can make the first steps faster. It cannot choose what is right for your users or your business.

The big change is where Mobbin shows up
This is not only about design inspiration. Many useful products make people stop what they are doing, search in a separate place, and carry the answer back. Every extra step makes guessing more tempting.
MCP gives these products another way to reach people. Mobbin’s website is still there when you want to browse. But its examples can now appear inside Codex, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and other tools while you are planning or building.
The point is not to help AI copy more screens. It is to bring better examples into the room before the first idea turns into code. A useful product becomes much more useful when it can answer where the work is happening.
